ALLVAR Alloys are the world’s first negative thermal expansion alloys. These materials passively shrink when heated and expand when cooled compensating for the CTE mismatch between other components. Products include constant preload washers and spacers, custom parts, round bar and tube. ALLVAR makes constant preload washers and spacers for cryogenic assemblies.
