Alkegen is one of the few multilayer insulation (MLI) manufacturers with low temperature vacuum insulation testing capabilities and competence to provide expert advice on system design. The company’s collated radiant barrier spacer system, CRS Wrap, applies up to four times faster than conventional insulation and significantly reduces waste. The CryoTherm family of 100% inorganic micro-fiberglass spacer materials has become the industry standard in MLI.

The company is also the exclusive global distributor of Cryo-Lite, a fiberglass blanket made of high-quality, fine fibers bonded with a melamine resin. Cryo-Lite is designed for soft or hard vacuum applications and has many advantages over a perlite system. All Alkegen cryogenic products are certified to meet DOT MC-338 (oxygen compatibility) requirements.
