Cryogenic Subcooler

The CSM subcooler is designed to reduce the entropy of cryogenic fluids and deliver them in a stable subcooled state. By lowering the liquid temperature below its saturation point, it enhances heat absorption capacity and improves overall transfer efficiency.

This vacuum insulated, low-maintenance system handles flow rates up to 3,500 kg/hr while maintaining line pressures up to 10 bar. By minimizing vapor formation, it improves cooling performance, reduces LN₂ consumption, and ensures consistent liquid quality. The system also mitigates the effects of storage tank fluctuations in pressure, level, and Net Evaporation Rate (NER), providing a reliable and stable supply regardless of liquid source.

Typical applications include food freezing, biopharmaceutical freeze drying and blast freezing, exothermic chemical reactor cooling, precision machining of super alloys, and critical systems requiring rapid, high-capacity heat removal.
